The Efik National Association, USA Inc. (Dba EfikUSA) is a national organization that serves as a consortium to all Efik Organizations, otherwise known as ‘local chapters’, which are located in different states within the USA. The local chapters provide opportunity for Efik people throughout the USA to enroll and congregate routinely, close to their places of residence, and thus promote grassroots activities.
EfikUSA as an organization draws its members directly from all members of the local chapters, and no individual can register as a member of the EfikUSA without being a registered/dues-paying member of one of the local chapters. Individuals are also free to join any chapter of their choosing as an at-large member, if there is no chapter close to their geographical area of residence; or where the person prefers to be active in a different chapter.
