Dr. Anne Edet Wagner is the current Vice- President of the Efik National Association.  During the previous administration, she served as the national financial secretary; while simultaneously and vigorously serving as the Washington DC Chapter President.  Over the years, she has served her local chapter in various capacities namely, Vice President, Financial Secretary, and Chair of the scholarship committee.

Dr.  Wagner is married with two teenage sons.  She graduated from Hull University, England; University of London, England; and Capella University, USA.  She holds a doctorate degree in Organization and Management, and works full-time for the Prince George’s County Government.  Since 2005, Dr. Wagner has served as an adjunct faculty in Bowie State University graduate school of business, Maryland; and in a similar capacity at Trinity University, Washington DC.  As a business practitioner, Dr. Wagner offers management consulting services to small/mid-size organizations.  She is also a member of the board of directors for Maryland Neighborly Networks, a non-profit that serves adults with disabilities.

Dr. Wagner is an intellectual, and a strong proponent of minority initiatives in the area of education, health, and human services.  She comes to us with in depth knowledge of Organizational Development and Change Management.  She is a skillful grants writer/manager, and highly experienced in building community partnership.
