Nka Ima Obio, Reno-Lake Tahoe was established in 2014 and launched during the 2014 ENA-USA Convention in Reno.

Community Activities

• Book and clothing drive is currently in progress to benefit two orphanages in Cross River State, Nigeria. The items will be delivered by about the 1st week in July.
• For the rest of 2015, members of Nka Ima Obio are signed up with local charities to provide help in shelters and food pantries to serve the less fortunate in the Reno community.
• Other minor and ongoing activities include representation at African and Nigerian functions in the Reno-Lake Tahoe community.
• Nka Ima Obio is a Reno Chapter of Commerce Ambassador in the Reno, Nevada community. The responsibilities include representing the Chamber in ribbon-cutting ceremonies and welcoming new members to the business community.
